Case Study of Wenbi Road Lighting Project in Lijiang, Yunnan

The renovation of street lamps on Wenbi Road and Longxiang Road in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, replaced the original 400W and 150W high-pressure sodium lamps with 150W and 70W xenon lamps. A total of 700 lamps were tested for highlights, and energy-saving tests showed that xenon lamps can save 70% of electricity compared to high-pressure sodium lamps, achieving high energy-saving, low-cost, high-efficiency, and long-lasting lighting effects, further highlighting the strong advantages of xenon lamps over sodium lamps.

Experimental results have shown that xenon lamps have the following advantages:

1、 Excellent color rendering - color rendering index greater than 95

2、 Low light attenuation - annual light attenuation less than 5%

3、 High energy-saving rate - can save more than 70% of electricity

4、 Hot Start - Repeatable Hot Start

5、 Long lifespan - effective lifespan of over 30000 hours

6、 Low instantaneous start-up rate - minimal impact on the power line, extending its lifespan
