Jinan Zhangqiu Street Lighting Project

Before and after the 2013 Spring Festival, full coverage of lights from the Xiuyuan River Scenic Area to the main urban area will be achieved. According to the overall requirements of Zhangqiu Municipal Integration, the Street Lamp Management Office of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Commission has organized lighting projects for roads such as Century Avenue, Huiquan Road West Section, and Anlifang Road. After the completion of the project, the Zhangqiu Housing and Urban Rural Development Commission has added nearly 800 new lights and more than 35000 meters of supporting construction cables. At present, the total number of urban street lights has reached nearly 30000, with a cable laying length of more than 600 kilometers and more than 300 transformers installed. It involves nearly 80 main and secondary roads in the city, and nearly 100 sets of high pole lights have been installed at important traffic intersections such as Xiujiang Road Expressway, Jingshi East Road, and Shuangshan Street. While ensuring the lighting effect, it has achieved one light per road and one scenery per road, forming a unique lighting landscape.

Experimental results have shown that xenon lamps have the following advantages:

1、 Excellent color rendering - color rendering index greater than 95

2、 Low light attenuation - annual light attenuation less than 5%

3、 High energy-saving rate - can save more than 70% of electricity

4、 Hot Start - Repeatable Hot Start

5、 Long lifespan - effective lifespan of over 30000 hours

6、 Low instantaneous start-up rate - minimal impact on the power line, extending its lifespan
